During Spiritual Awakening many people experience symptoms such as ringing in the ears, increased energy, inability to sleep properly, feeling nervous or anxious, heightened emotions- especially around others or in public settings.
They may have psychic or intuitive gifts come online suddenly or strengthen and these may seem distressing and need time to adjust.
There may be a strong desire to spend more time away from electronics, away from other people. The feeling of wanting to be alone and feeling like no one understands you are also prevalent in the Awakening process.
If you are experiencing symptoms and you do not feel comfortable in your own body anymore, it is time to get grounded.
Spend more time in nature, sit on mountains, lean against a tree, go to the park, walk in the sand, dip your toes in the ocean, lake, river etc. It is also a good idea to find a breathing technique for calmness or listen to a meditation CD.
(Note: a simple breathing technique is watching your breath- observe the rise and fall of your belly with each inhalation and exhalation. It helps you stay present.)
Pay attention to how you are doing. Notice when you begin to feel uncomfortable in your body and breathe, take a moment to slow down, center your energy, come back to the present moment, and/or go outside in nature.
